Boann: It would do us well to remember our 3 vows.

Boann: The first, and oddly, the easiest is faith.
Boann: Some people have a common misconception that faith means
Boann: believe in something without proof or reason.
Boann: But on the contrary, without proof or reason, you are
Boann: more of a fool.
Boann: We see around us destruction. Some even cause it.
Boann: Daily, and in plentiful amounts.
Boann: Why do we do this? It is in our nature to do so. We are
Boann: not as others.
Boann: We are all killers.
Boann: Sgrians are just proud of it.
Boann: Name one of you who does not or has not hunted?
Boann: Is there one of you who has not killed for your own
Boann: selfish ends?
Boann: Slayed a creant? That’s a very selfish deed.
Boann: Maybe under the mask of doing something good, you
Boann: killed the terror of the old man’s nightmare.
Boann: Still… destruction caused by you.
Boann: Fact is, you killed.
Boann: You can paint it any way you want, but what is, is.
Boann: Our faith is here with us.
Boann: Our faith is an extension of who we are.
Boann: Our faith is what we are.
Boann: So to say we are blind about, is simply wrong.
Boann: The children in Loures still decay to this day.
Boann: The mice in the crypt still carry around rotten fruits.
Boann: What we are is in every part of life.
Boann: We are just aware of it more than others.
Boann: And unlike others, we accept it.
Boann: We accept that some day soon, we will be rotting and
Boann: carried by a mouse.
Boann: Or a belly of a beast, or in some hole in the ground,
Boann: or even in Grinneal… for the more educated.
Boann: Or maybe burned at sea on a boat *looks to Malph*
Boann: But we know we will be, and somehow we are okay with that.
Boann: So question not our faith. We have it.
Boann: Another thing that drives us above is loyalty.
Boann: Sgrians are Sgrians together.
Boann: You can be a single Sgrian alone, but that isn’t really
Boann: how we work.
Boann: The fellowshp of Sgrios is a family.
Boann: These fellows are not my initiates exactly. They may not
Boann: even be my friends. What they are is family.
Boann: We’re all brought up in similar fashion. Our iniators are
Boann: our advancers. They are our elders. We respect them
Boann: long after they are gone.
Boann: We respect the words and traditions they created long before
Boann: the majority of us were even sparked, and we have set
Boann: things in place to guarentee these same traditions will
Boann: be respected long after we are gone.
Boann: Beyond Sgrios, that family is our bond.
Boann: I might not be able to trust those I am hunting with, but
Boann: I can trust my family.
Boann: I might not loan my newest friend my most precious of
Boann: items for fear of not getting it back. I would loan it
Boann: to any of my family without a second thought.
Boann: Most of us vowed on our entrance here to kill as we want,
Boann: to live as we wish, but the one thing we cannot do is
Boann: disrespect Sgrios or the family.
Boann: This loyalty, this bond, this family is what keeps this
Boann: temple strong while many others fail.
Boann: We don’t need numbers.
Boann: We don’t need a huge congregation.
Boann: We need loyal Aislings who are strong in their
Boann: faith.
Boann: Those who can stand up and say “I am Sgrian”.
Boann: If we are elitist about anything, it is going to be
Boann: that.
Boann: No matter how much people tell us “You are emo. Go cut
Boann: yourself” or “Sgrians are a big joke. You think you are
Boann: all evil but you are not.”….
Boann: They can’t take our bond away.
Boann: Doubt never enters my mind.
Boann: Because I have what they lack.
Boann: Faith in myself and my God.
Boann: And loyalty in my family
